The Lancashire Engaging Apprenticeship Programme (LEAP) is an ESF funded consortium consisting of regional FE/HE partners, led by UCLan.
The UCLan delivery partner team for the LEAP project will contribute to the overall performance of the project. The aim of the project is to enhance equal access to lifelong learning by providing additional support for apprentices within Lancashire’s small and medium sized enterprises.
The Project Support Officer provides administration support to the LEAP Delivery Manager. They will manage the registration of individuals employed within Lancashire SMEs that are interested in undertaking an apprenticeship, are a current apprentice or are employed to support apprentices within the workplace. The post-holder will undertake relevant ESF and University processes and documentation throughout the project life cycle, requiring attention to detail and accuracy. Communicating clearly and via a range of methods with the team, to programme participants and employers, the Project Support Officer will promote project activity, support programme preparation through the design, creation and distribution of project and workshop materials, provide practical support during workshop delivery and collate feedback and evaluation data to ensure quality programmes are provided. This includes purchasing items within budget and stock checking.
This activity contributes to meeting the participant and quality targets set for the project.
